Liverpool are prepared to offload midfielder Damien Plessis to Portuguese giants Benfica.
The 22-year old Frenchman has struggled for game time at Anfield since joining from Lyon's youth setup in 2007 and it is believed the Reds are ready to sell him for around £600,000.
Benfica are reportedly interested in Plessis but Liverpool have made it clear they want to make it a permanent deal rather than a loan.
