Liverpool midfielder James Milner appears likely to miss England's upcoming friendly matches against Spain and France as a result of a hamstring injury.

Milner sustained the injury during the Reds' Europa League win over Rubin Kazan on Thursday.

The 29-year-old was replaced in the second half of the contest and did not feature for the Merseyside club in their loss to Crystal Palace on Sunday.
