Liverpool goalkeeper Brad Jones has hit back at claims suggesting he is set to leave the club. The 29-year old Australian international, currently on loan at English Championship club Derby County, is reportedly set to leave Anfield at the end of the season after falling out with manager Kenny Dalglish.
But the former Middlesbrough man posted on his Twitter account that these reports were way off the mark.
"What idiot decided to put in the Daily Mirror that I'm going to leave Liverpool?," Jones tweeted.
"Completely untrue and really a poor attempt at a story."
Jones signed a three-year deal with the Reds in August and since his arrival was back-up to number one Pepe Reina prior to his loan to Derby.
