Liverpool have joined the interest in Fulham defender Brede Hangeland.
The People says Fulham are desperate to tie their giant centre-back Hangeland to a new contract to stave off interest from Liverpool and Arsenal.
Anfield boss Rafa Benitez has made enquiries about the 6ft 5in Norway captain (left), who held initial talks about an improved contract with the money men at Craven Cottage last week.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has also sent scouts to watch the big defender.
But Fulham will snub offers of less than £10m for a player they signed for £2.5m from FC Copenhagen last January.
