Liverpool have rejected an offer to sign Ozan Kabak from Schalke.

Goal says the German club put forward an offer for Liverpool to sign Kabak for just £8.5 m.

Schalke are desperate to raise funds following their relegation from Bundesliga.

Having signed Ibrahima Konate, and Virgil Van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez returning from injury, Liverpool have decided against accepting the offer.

The Turkey international could still land in England as Schalke shop him around the numerous suitors.

Leicester City, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United hav all been linked with the 21-year-old.
