Anderlecht goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen is a target for Liverpool this summer.

The Sun says the Anfield club know there is a strong chance that Republic of Ireland reserve Caoimhin Kelleher will move on in the summer.

That possibly leaves them needing new competition for Alisson.

Verbruggen is at the right age and stage in his career to take on that challenge and then possibly take over down the line.

At 6ft 4in he is a big presence.

Liverpool could make their move soon once the Kelleher picture is clearer.

If the Merseyside club dither then in-demand Verbruggen may be snapped up elsewhere.

The Anderlecht starlet has been capped by Holland at youth level.
