Liverpool are again being linked with Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches.

Kicker says Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is stepping up their interest in the unsettled Portugal international after reaching the Champions League group phase.

Roma are also interested, with Bayern seeking to recoup the €35m they paid Benfica for Sanches a year ago.

At Liverpool, Sanches could arrive as cover for Adam Lallana, who has been hit by long-term injury.

The youngster managed just two full games for Bayern last season, making 25 appearances in total.
