Liverpool are expected to launch a January bid for Benfica wing-back Fabio Coentrao.
Record says Liverpool will compete with Bayern Munich for the Portugal international.
The fullback's current contract with Benfica runs until 2016, but Coentrao could leave the Lisbon giants if a club matches his 30 million release clause.
