Liverpool now buzzing thanks to Dalglish - Shelvey

Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey says the club is buzzing thanks to manager Kenny Dalglish's influence.

Shelvey is out for three months with a knee injury.

But he said: "I have really enjoyed this season and working with Kenny Dalglish is amazing.

"He has brought a real buzz around the place and he has lifted everyone. The team morale is much stronger now than it was and I think we have seen that in the performances and results we have given.

"Who would have said even a couple of months ago Liverpool would beat Chelsea away?

"Kenny has got us playing well and even though I was gutted I couldn't play in the game because of my knee, I was delighted to see the lads win. It is nice to be seen as a good player by someone like Kenny Dalglish, and for him to have put me on in every game since his return is just an honour for me.

"The manager just told me to keep doing what I have been doing and it's nice to know that he's considering me and it gives me a good feeling."
