Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara is in line to make the squad for their clash with Newcastle United.
Goal says there is a chance that Thiago could feature in the squad for the game against Newcastle.
Signed from Bayern Munich in the summer, the midfielder has not played since the Merseyside derby with Everton in October, having been sidelined with a knee injury.
However, the Spanish international returned to training in the last week and has so far shown no adverse reaction.
But the report also adds that manager Jurgen Klopp may however err on the side of caution, with the visit to Southampton next Monday a more likely target for Thiago's return.
