The Liverpool Echo says there's never been any official word that Naby Keita had tested positive for coronavirus despite widespread speculation, stemming from his homeland over the weekend.

However, Guinea did confirm their latest friendly had cancelled due to an outbreak in their squad.

Now the latest reports from Guinea suggest he has since returned a second negative result.
