Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva accepts there's little he can do to end the criticism levelled at him.
The Brazil international has been an ever-present in Liverpool's Premiership team this season, but remains a target for the boo-boys.
"It is normal when you don't get results that you get criticism," Lucas told liverpoolfc.tv. "To be honest I cannot stop it. I have to keep going. If I listened to the criticism I wouldn't play here anymore!
"I just have to keep going and work really hard. The critics will be less if we keep doing well.
"Our record in the last four games is 10 points so that is positive.
"We know this season has been not so good but we have to keep this momentum and attitude."
