Liverpool and Arthur Melo have suffered a heavy injury blow.

Arthur could be facing up to four months on the sidelines amid reports he is expected to undergo surgery on an injury this weekend.

The 26-year-old has only made one substitute appearance for the Reds since joining the club on loan from Juventus on transfer deadline day, earning 13 minutes of match action during the club's dismal Champions League defeat by Napoli last month.
