Liverpool are set to face serious competition in their quest to sign Patrick Dorgu.

The Lecce full-back is one who is attracting interest from top Premier League clubs this season.

Per FourFourTwo, Liverpool chiefs are ready to make a bid for Dorgu as early as January.

They are hoping to steal a march on the other interested clubs, which include Manchester City.

City do have far more players who can play in the left-back slot where Dorgu is comfortable.
