Liverpool are believed to be retaining a serious interest in Olympique Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette.

According to RMC, the Reds have had the French striker as a genuine target for the past few years and they have not changed their stance.

Lacazette's name continues to be bandied around the transfer circles with Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund all believed to be very keen.

But Jurgen Klopp has not withdrawn Liverpool's desire to lure the prolific 25-year-old to Anfield and could yet make a move for him as the summer transfer window approaches.
