Liverpool legend Mark Lawrenson is confident injured fullback Jon Flanagan will soon be back in action for the Reds.
Lawro wrote in the Liverpool Echo: "What bad timing for Jon Flanagan to be sidelined for a few months. With Javi Manquillo staking his claim and Glen Johnson nearing full fitness, right-back will be a competitive berth this season.
"Flanagan, though, has shown in the past he can recover from setbacks and I'm guessing he's not the kind of lad who gets too bothered about it.
"I wouldn't be worried. Flanagan will get on with it and come back fitter and stronger. Certainly, his versatility and attitude will be a big miss for the Reds."
