Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has joined the Trabzonspor presidential election.

Gerrard is available after his dismissal at Aston Villa.

Abdullah Avci has resigned as coach at Trabzonspor and been replaced by caretaker Orhan Ak.

And according to the Karar media, Gerrard is among the various candidates, who has even already met Ertugrul Dogan, one of the candidates in the presidential elections called for the end of March.

In case of victory, Dogan would seem willing to go with Gerrard as new coach.
