​Liverpool legend Barnes: Karius concussion makes no difference

Liverpool legend John Barnes does not believe that Loris Karius being concussed played a part in his mistakes.

A report from the United States came out suggesting that Karius had a concussion during the Champions League final.

He was hit by a stray elbow from Sergio Ramos a couple minutes before the first of his two mistakes in the game.

But Barnes does not believe a blow to the head is the reason why he cost his side two goals.

"He got a bit of a knock to the head so maybe he was concussed… but they lost," he said on talkSPORT.

"I mean, can we replay the game then? What does it really mean?

"In terms of maybe understanding the third goal, yes it went through his hands, but I mean, the first one throwing it down…"
