Liverpool legend John Aldridge admits he's excited about the strike-partnership of Danny Sturridge and Luis Suarez.
Writing in his Liverpool Echo column, Aldridge said: "Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge are two clever lads who are also very gifted with the ball at their feet.
"They've hit it off straight away, but they are also still learning about each other's games.
"People talk about strikers' styles complementing each other - and that can be true - but at the highest levels like the Premier League you need strikers to be on the same intellectual wavelength, and Suarez and Sturridge clearly are.
"At Liverpool I forged a great partnership with Beardsley, who had an exceptional football brain. We just clicked straight from the off.
"At Oxford I played alongside a striker called Billy Hamilton who was also very bright on a football pitch. We were almost telepathic together.
"You need your teammates to have a good football brain if you're going to hit it off."
