Liverpool legend John Aldridge is urging manager Brendan Rodgers to move for AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao. Rodgers earlier this week pulled the plug on a £8.5m deal for QPR forward Loic Remy and Liverpool officials are yet to comment on the specific reason why the move was scrapped.
Aldridge told the Sky Sports: "I thought Remy for £8.5m was a very shrewd buy but it's fallen through for whatever reason, so Liverpool do need another striker in my opinion should something happen.
"Who is out there? Falcao, they're saying he had a horrendous season last year.
"He was a bit part of the player he was last season. If he can get back to where he was the previous season then he would be one wouldn't he?"
