Liverpool are getting ready to launch an audacious £35 million summer bid for Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips.

The Citizens have barely used Phillips since he arrived at the club in the summer from Leeds United.

However, it appears he may get a lifeline, with Jurgen Klopp wanting to bring him to Anfield.
