Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers will seek to boost his firepower this week. The Daily Star Sunday says Liverpool will make a last gasp attempt to beat Chelsea to the signature of Icardi.
The 21-year-old Argentine striker has attracted a host of interest following his performances for Inter Milan in Serie A this season, where he was scored 10 times.
Atletico Madrid are also reportedly in the hunt for Icardi's signature. with the price-tag touted thought to be in the region of £30million.
