Adam Bogdan is set to depart Liverpool after just one season with the club.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper has reportedly been given permission to join Wigan Athletic and will complete his transfer in the coming days.
Bogdan arrived at Anfield from Bolton Wanderers last summer but appeared just twice in the Premier League and six times in total for the Merseyside club.
The Hungary international sits behind Simon Mignolet and new signing Loris Karius in Liverpool's keeper pecking order and has been deemed surplus to requirements by manager Jurgen Klopp.
Bogdan's imminent move to the DW Stadium could see the Reds sign veteran gloveman Alex Manninger, formerly of Arsenal, as back-up for Mignolet and Karius while the promising Danny Ward gets some vital game time on loan at Huddersfield Town.
