Liverpool will investigate claims of racial abuse made against Chelsea striker Demba Ba on Sunday.

The Daily Mail says Liverpool are investigating an allegation that Ba was racially abused by one of the home fans during Sunday's game at Anfield.

The Chelsea striker is not thought to have heard the racist insult, reported from high in the stands, but a complaint has been made to football's Kick It Out organisation by another Liverpool supporter.
