Liverpool icon Ian Rush says his old team can beat Manchester City tonight at Eastlands.
The Reds travel to City having been denied a win over Arsenal on the opening weekend of the season by Pepe Reina's howler.
And Rush insists the keeper's gaffe in the 1-1 draw will make Roy Hodgson's side more determined to beat big-spending City.
He said: "After watching the Arsenal game we seemed well organised and we always seem to do well away at City.
"I'm sure Roberto Mancini will be telling his team they have to start well against Liverpool with it being their first home game - but I just think this is a good time for us to play them."
