Valencia midfielder Sofiane Feghouli is a target for Liverpool.

The People says Reds scouts have been monitoring the 23-year-old for some time and Hotline understands the player's representatives have been sounded out about a £9million move in the summer.

The Algeria international, who holds a French passport, only put pen to paper on a new deal at the Mestalla in January which is set to run until June 2016.

But Valencia have to keep a tight ship financially and would likely listen to offers of around £13m.

Liverpool will not go that high and a bid of around £9m is more likely if Valencia suggest a deal can be done.
