Liverpool legend Phil Thompson insists Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling still has much to offer England at the Euros.
Thommo feels that Sterling can still be an effective weapon for England in the later stages of the tournament.
Speaking to Sky Sports about the former Liverpool player, he said: "I can't see him being recalled to the starting line-up but he could now become a really dangerous impact player for us.
"If you're a full-back having played 70 minutes in the middle of the summer in France then you do not want to see Raheem Sterling, with the pace he has, coming off the bench."
