Liverpool hero John Arne Riise is convinced by the quality of Andrew Robertson.

The Scot has rarely been seen since his arrival from Hull City.

But Riise told the Liverpool Echo: "Basically (Alberto) Moreno's form this year [is keeping Robertson out].

"Robertson has performed well, he really has. But the way Moreno has played in pre-season and during the season has showed Klopp he is the first choice, and rightly so.

"Robertson is good enough and he will get loads of chances. He needs to keep working hard and playing well when he gets a chance."

Riise added: "The way he (Moreno) has turned this around is the perfect way of doing it. Has never moaned or complained, he kept his head on the right things, worked hard, stayed happy and did his best for the club.

"He is a great example of what belief and hard work can do."
