Former Liverpool and Tottenham star Jamie Redknapp reckons Kiko Macheda can make it at Manchester United.

In his column for the Daily Mail, Redknapp wrote: "If there is promising news about Wayne Rooney, that will lift Manchester United, but there is also much to admire about Federico Macheda.

"I like his movement, but he is also a goalscorer. He looks like a player too; he has the swagger you need to crack it at a club like United. After an injury-riddled season, he's one welcome sight for them."
