Former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey admits the emergence of Ben Woodburn has been a 'mind blower'.

Jurgen Klopp's men travel to Heskey's old club Leicester on Tuesday evening in the third round of the Carabao Cup.

And on Woodburn, Heskey told the Liverpool Echo: “The thing is, every now and again you know you will get a young lad who will come along and just blow your mind. He is one of those.

“He takes everything in his stride. You think he is ahead of his time.

“He is playing with no fear and looks like he is a real thinkers' footballer. He is just a phenomenal player."
