Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius is battling to stay with Besiktas.
A Spor says the 26-year-old German has been on loan with Besiktas since 2018 and the inconsistencies of his time at Anfield have followed him, with noises coming out of the Turkish club suggesting they are unlikely to take up the option of a permanent deal.
However, Karius is willing to accept reduced wages to extend his stay at the club.
Karius has endured some turbulent times in Turkey, being jeered by some fans after a costly error led to a cup exit by a lower league time but has been backed by team mates following improved form, one of whom hit out at his treament by Liverpool who called his departure from Anfield following his Kiev nightmare “an over-reaction".
