Liverpool fullback Andrew Robertson praised goalscorer Dominik Szoboszlai after victory over Aston Villa.
Robertson says the players weren't surprised by his stunning drive.
He stated: “We've maybe not seen as much of it in games as we have seen in training but Szobo's got a pretty nice strike on him, that's for sure, and technically he is a very gifted player, we've seen that already and I think he'll have a big career here and we are looking forward to being a part of it.
“I thought it was probably our best performance of the season so far, which is pleasing. We were really in control of the game against a really good team.
"Since their manager (Unai Emery) came in they have got themselves into Europe and are a completely difference force. I thought we stopped their strengths quite well and scored a couple of goals which meant it was a comfortable afternoon for us.
“I thought they were excellent, but to be honest I thought every player was excellent – even the subs who came on – it was a complete squad performance. I thought everyone was really good and on top of their game and when we do that and defend on the highest level it helps and I think you saw that.
“I think it's been a really good start for us. Difficult games, difficult fixtures and as much as we could ask for down to 10 men twice in games I think we have played well in games and we are growing as a team and hopefully that continues."
