Liverpool fullback Andy Robertson is the mystery donor that has kept six food banks in Glasgow alive.
Many food banks in the Scottish city were struggling to remain active due to the COVID-19 outbreak and other events.
And according to The Times, Robertson is the Scottish footballer who made the generous donation to keep them going.
The 26-year-old had kept the donation anonymous so as to avoid any publicity.
Football identities such as Gary Neville, Wilfried Zaha and Roman Abramovich have also taken action to help in the way they deem best.
Neville has allowed NHS staff to stay at his Manchester hotel, while Zaha will make accomodations in his house for NHS workers.
