Liverpool fullback Andrew Robertson expects a battle tonight against Carabao Cup opponents Manchester City.
It's the first game back for both clubs after the World Cup recess.
Robertson said: "First game back after the World Cup, it's been a long time. It's been a long break.
"We'll be ready to go. It doesn't get much tougher, especially away there. We want to progress in the cup and so do Manchester City and that's why it will be competitive. Obviously, we know what it's like to win this cup, we enjoyed it last season and the trip to Wembley, the final and everything else and getting out hands on the trophy.
"We want to do that again and the only way to do that is by beating the teams in front of you."
