Liverpool fullback Steve Irwin is training with Aberdeen.

Irwin is expected to sign on-loan at Pittodrie.

The defender has been sent to Scotland to train with SPL side Aberdeen to continue his development.

Irwin, 20, spent nine years at the Liverpool academy before being promoted to the reserves in 2008.
