Liverpool fullback Alberto Moreno is delighted with the praise coming from John Arne Riise.
Champions League winner Riise says Moreno can now be regarded as a role model after fighting his way back into the Liverpool first team and earning himself a first Spain call.
In response, Moreno said: "I could be. What is clear is that all this work has a reward. It is true that I have worked very hard after what was a very, very, very bad year; and that I have gained the confidence of (Jürgen) Klopp after great work during the summer and the preseason.
"All this is a reward for a job well done."
The Spaniard also revealed he's happy for Lazio attacker Luis Alberto for his Spain call. Alberto is a former Reds player.
"We were playing the PlayStation for a while and talking and he said: 'Nano, will it be that one day we will play again on the same team?' And then the coincidence came the next day that the national team calls us both."
