Sampdoria are again showing interest in Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli.
Massimo Ferrero, president of the Genoa club, made no secret of his desire to have the Italian striker at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in January and has now re-iterated that yearning.
"Balotelli is a great name. He'd suit a lot of teams. I'd take him at Sampdoria in a heartbeat," said Ferrero who signed Samuel Eto'o from Everton in the winter.
"A partnership of Eto'o-Balotelli would be fantastic."
The Blucerchiati are expected to lose Stefano Okaka and Eder this summer with Premier League clubs such as Stoke City and Crystal Palace showing considerable interest.
