Liverpool are considering a firm approach for AS Monaco winger Benjamin Moukandjo.
The Daily Mail says Liverpool see Moukandjo as a cheaper alternative to Lille star Gervinho.
The 22-year old, who can also play as a striker or winger, is available for less than £3million, following Monaco's relegation from the top flight.
Moukandjo has already stated he'd welcome a move to Anfield after learning of the Reds' interest.
