Liverpool management believe Andre Wisdom is one for the future.

In his column for liverpoolfc.tv, Reds academy boss John Owens revealed: "On to Monday night and everyone at the Academy was delighted to see Andre Wisdom named on the bench for the Reserves' clash at Newcastle United.

"He's still only 15 and isn't full-time yet. He's a fixture of our under-16 side but has played a number of matches for the under-18s. We're looking to make him a scholar from next summer and have hopes for him.

"It was a nice boost to see him involved with Gary Ablett's side and although he didn't make it off the bench, it was a good experience for the boy."
