Liverpool have a deal in place for Trabzonspor star Abdulkadir Omur, according to Turkish sources.

However, the Liverpool Echo says Liverpool have rejected the reports they have agreed a £17m deal to sign Omur.

It had been claimed that the Reds had "shook hands" on a deal which would see the 19-year-old 'Turkish Messi' move to Anfield in the summer.

The report even stated that Trabzonspor had asked Liverpool to keep the announcement of the deal secret as they didn't want the news to upset the club's supporters.

But the Echo say that the Reds have stated that no discussions over a move for the teenager have taken place, and that Omur isn't on Liverpool's list of transfer targets for the summer.
