Liverpool defender Nathaniel Phillips agrees Celtic move

Liverpool defender Nathaniel Phillips has agreed to a move to Celtic.

Phillips is set to join the Hoops on-loan for the season.

BBC Sport says Celtic have reached an agreement with Liverpool over a loan arrangement.

Phillips has also agreed to a loan until January. Celtic have centre-backs Cameron Carter-Vickers, Stephen Welsh and Maik Nawrocki currently on the injury list.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has been on a desperate search for reinforcements.

Phillips has a contract with Liverpool until the summer of 2025.
