Liverpool defender Ragnar Klavan has labeled 2016 as the best year of his career.

Klavan joined Liverpool this summer following a stunning campaign with German Bundesliga outfit FC Augsburg and the experienced defender has certainly done a very good job since arriving at Anfield.

Klavan has been left very pleased regarding his positive start to life at Liverpool and the Estonian international has stated that 2016 has been the best year of his 15 season career so far.

He posted on Instagram: "It has been a special and definetly (sic) the best year of my career.

"I would like to say a big thank you to all who have supported me. #2016 #ynwa #lfc"
