Liverpool defender Joe Gomez feels he's ready for preseason.

Gomez, whose 2015/16 season was ended in October by a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament injury sustained while playing for England under-21s in October.

The injury meant he has yet to kick a ball under Jurgen Klopp, who had only just been appointed at the time.

Gomez, who joined Danny Ings as long-term casualties from the Reds' summer transfer crop, has now shared a video of some of the finest moments of his so-far short Liverpool career.

In an Instagram post accompanying the video he wrote: "It's been a difficult period in my life, but it's only made me stronger...Day by day im getting closer"
