Liverpool defender Tiago Ilori is mulling over a loan offer from Aston Villa.

The Liverpool Echo says Ilori is considering the chance to join Aston Villa on a season-long loan.

Earlier today the 22-year-old centre-back rejected the opportunity to complete a temporary switch to Sunderland.

However, Villa have now also made an offer and Ilori must decide whether he wants to spend the campaign as part of Tim Sherwood's squad at Villa Park.

Liverpool are keen for the Portugal Under-21s international to head out on loan in order for him to play first-team football.
