Liverpool confident beating Man Utd, Arsenal to Jorginho deal

Liverpool chiefs are convinced they can win the race to sign Napoli midfielder Jorginho.

The Mirror says Liverpool see the Italy international Jorginho as replacement for Emre Can.

Premier League rivals Manchester United and Arsenal are also looking, but the Anfield Reds are confident they are in the frame for the £50million-rated Napoli midfielder.

The success of Brazilians Lucas, Philippe Coutinho and most recently Roberto Firmino at Anfield, and the adventurous, attacking style of boss Jurgen Klopp would be a draw for the player, as would Champions League football — which Arsenal are unlikely to be able to offer next season.

Liverpool have also been looking at Nice's Jean-Michael Seri and Wilfred Ndidi of Leicester as Can's replacement.
