Liverpool coach Steven Gerrard branded Eden Hazard as "unplayable" for last night's 1-1 draw with Chelsea.
Gerrard made the claim as fellow BT Sport pundit Rio Ferdinand criticised Liverpool's players for not doing more to nullify the Belgian.
"I think they're trying Rio (to stop him) but he's unplayable, unplayable," Gerrard said.
“I understand what Rio is saying but I think (Jordan) Henderson is getting close, (James) Milner is close.
“But he's unstoppable, the speed, the power and the strength he's got when he's in that form.
"It's really difficult, it's easier saying it."
Blues boss Antonio Conte was delighted with Hazard's performance.
He said: "At the start of the season it was full of trouble because he had an injury with the national team and we started the season without him. When you have this type of injury and you need surgery, it's important to have the best time for your recovery.
"Eden is now in really good form. He likes to play as a striker and there is a good link with Alvaro. For me it's an opportunity to play with two different systems. Against Qarabag we played with a 3-4-2-1, today with a 3-5-2, but we must not lose our identity in both cases."
