Liverpool chiefs expect to rake in £10M from Aussie tour

Liverpool are set to earn millions from their tour of Australia this summer. The Daily Mail says the Reds stand to earn £10 million from their two friendly tour.

They will face Brisbane Roar at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium on July 17 before taking on Adelaide United at the Adelaide Oval three days later.

The South Australian Government has paid Liverpool an appearance fee of around £800,000 - and they will keep all the gate receipts from the game in Adelaide which will amount to around £3million.

Merchandise sales are expected to be also a big winner with Liverpool to wear their New Balance kit.
