Liverpool chief Damien Comolli is having Athletic Bilbao pair Iker Muniain and Javi Martinez watched leading up to the summer market. The midfield pair have attracted long-term interest from Comolli, who is now ready to table offers for the talented duo following their performances in the Europa League against Manchester United.
Ironically, both players are also interesting Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, but he has priorities elsewhere in terms of squad building.
The Sun on Sunday says Liverpool are now drawing up plans to lure Muniain and Martinez to Anfield before the European Championships.
