Schalke winger Leroy Sane is in the sights on Liverpool.

BILD says the Reds had an £11million bid for Sane rejected during the transfer window, as Brendan Rodgers sought to further his attacking options.

Despite enhancing their attacking options with the likes of Christian Benteke, Danny Ings and Roberto Firmino, the Reds squad continues to lack genuine wide-men, Jordon Ibe apart.

However, the Reds are reportedly continuing to monitor the young forward, who has scored three goals in his last three games for Die Konigsblauen.
