Liverpool change transfer strategy due to coronavirus pandemic

Liverpool are making some changes to their strategy in the transfer market.

The Reds were looking to move several players on after their contracts expired, includingAdam Lallana.

But the Liverpool Echo claims that coronavirus has changed the outlook of the market and some of those decisions.

Lallana could be offered a new deal to keep him at the club.

Dejan Lovren is another who was almost a guaranteed departure, but he is also not looking to leave as he would prefer the security of a new deal at Liverpool.

Xherdan Shaqiri may also stay put, although he does desire more game time.

The Reds may steer clear of big money signings this summer as they look to ensure their finances are right moving forward.
